While I've been busy writing music, and recording backing tracks, and running a Live Music Venue in Second Life, it's also been apparent that a gap has appeared when I heard that "Toggle for Music" closed. 

TFM was a blog that covered venues and musicians and gave a spotlight for both, and was a trusted source of information for these topics in Second Life.  With that gone, I saw that we'd need something else in it's place.

There are so many amazing singers in Second Life, of so many genres and backgrounds, and so many venue's that are offering a variety of support for these singers, that it needed a new blog to pick up where TFM has left off.

So, I decided to create NEF Music Notes, a blog that I want to remain independent from influence from NEF when it comes to the articles and artists that it covers.   One of these reasons is because NEF has always been a champion of new artists and doing their best to ensure a fair audience to all their members, and we want the articles to remain positive and encouraging about the artists or venues that it covers.

Andee TopHat is a singer songwriter in both Second Life and Real Life.  Having played the piano for over 45 years, he enjoys creating "TopHat Twists" of popular music and creating a new take on the cover songs that he does. You can find Andee TopHat performing at a variety of venue's in world.
